My journey into creativity…

When I was a little boy, growing up in rural Indiana, my uncle worked for an electronics repair shop and always brought home equipment to work on, most of the time in front of me. This became a vital part of my upbringing and little did I know, technology would become one of my passion as an adult.
My curiosity of technology soon became a tool that allowed me to express my creativity. I remember the days when VHS was the only video storage media with how bulky it was. After earning enough money to buy my first film camera, I was hooked. I was fascinated by how light changed and shaped the world around me and it sparked my imagination and creativity.
Throughout my childhood, I had many influences in music, art, and crafts. Technology continued to become second nature for me as I worked at a computer store (Intrex) selling and servicing computers. This allowed me to excel and become fluent in technical know-how. Combined with my intrinsic need to express creativity, this eventually led me down the road of graphical arts and photography.
I began working on my first business concept by providing creative design and graphic solutions to businesses called FX Designs. This allowed me to focus on remaining an entrepreneur and independent creative throughout my college years.
Before graduating from the College of Design at NC State University, I continued my visual arts career as an independent graphic designer and photographer and started a video production company called ONE | STUDIOS, which I now own and operate with my elite team of creatives.
My interests in story-telling and sharing experiences have become a part of me. It became necessary for me to travel the world in search of culture and stories to open my mind and embrace anything that allowed me to see outside of my box and challenged my abilities. Through my travels, I have realized that seeking comfort can make a person stale and dull. With so much to see and experience, overcoming fear and embracing self-discipline is the surest way to happiness.
